Our team has been serving Austin, TX, since 1984 and all of Texas since 1988. Born and raised in East Austin, Owner and operator Pete Guerra began in the moving business after his friends continually asked him to come over to help them move. Tired of wasting his sweat, Pete started a team and raised his rates from free to 1 penny per 100 lbs of cargo unloaded, eventually leading the team to pack jobs, courier jobs, and more.

We have gone by several other names: Austin Moving, Compass Delivery Service and Metro Delivery. Though we’ve called ourselves a few things, one factor has always remained the same: getting the job done right and on time. That’s been our priority from the beginning, and it’s what our customers know us by.

We have been proud members of the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for over 20 years. Our team has provided services for GAHCC, AISD, COA Treasury, the Texas Comptroller’s Office, The Bullock Texas State History Museum, Central Texas Library System, Inc., and the Stephen F. Austin State Office, as well as other city, state and federal agencies. We have also maintained contracts and services with Pitney Bowes, Dillards, Amazon.com in-home deliveries, Sam’s Club, Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Neiman Marcus, World Interiors, and Palazzo Reale Home Furnishings – just to name a few. As of 2015, we’ve completed over 6,000 commercial and residential deliveries.
